2.    Too Much Salt In Your Diet

3.    Frequently Delaying The Call Of Nature

4.    Kick The Sugar Habit

    Superman's little brother, who is a doctor, just gave us a little personal story with less "meat" in it than the original article and avoided citing any high-sounding studies to prove his point. We are just supposed to take his word for what he says because of his amazing "readings." So funny.

    If you go looking without any preconceived notions, you can find there are lots of reasons to avoid coffee, tea and alcohol. I can't even believe that anyone would say "it isn't so" these days! You just don't want to believe it! I took just fifteen minutes and found many articles citing studies regarding all of those things. And hey, if you "have to have it" and go through nasty withdrawal symptoms if you don't get it, you have to realize it is a drug and you are an addict.

    And sleep deprivation? Goodness! The military is famous for the studies they have done on this! Inadvertently I did my own little person study while raising a large family. I think most people know that if we don't get enough sleep we don't function well, even to causing car accidents. Lack of sleep causes depression and so much more. If during our sleep our body does needed repairs, lack of sleep will have a negative effect on our entire system. You don't need to be a doctor to figure that out!

    But hey, don't listen to me – I am just a normal person and not ever mistaken for a super-hero's relative.

      Sleep deprivation is definitely unhealthy. I have read that people who work at night consistently, have shorter life expectancies. I believe it. From my study of the Chinese Five Element Theory, the liver does most of it's work between 1-3AM. I say DON'T work at night.

    When I question an article's veracity, which is almost all the time, I do my own research and cross reference it. It's my body and my health, I don't just take someone else's word. Even then, I take the information with lots of grains of salt, no longer fully trusting even what the universities are publishing. Some of them will no longer publicly disclose their benefactors, so I don't consider them to be fully creditable, and don't waste my time.

      I applaud you cause SO MANY ppl don't research…and that is what NaturalNews.com is about, though…reporting stuff you don't see in the "regular" news and sure you may still want to research his stuff but I would be more inclined to consider what he's saying to be truer than many others anymore. But by all means, continue to research and "experiment" on yourself…thas what I've done…try something, if I don't break out or get sick I may do it again, maybe not…I'm grown and I can do what I want with what I want.   • This are all true and correct. Apparently, we tend to neglect our kidneys due to our eating habits and lifestyle. Aside from that, when taking prescription drugs such as antibiotics, it would help to not go under or over your prescribed dosage in order to prevent damage to your kidneys.     for me no comments at all,as long as i know whats food im taking everyday…speaking off coffee,about the sleep derivation i remember may grand father who's only sleep around 5 to 6 hours everyday,but he is died at 100 years of age,and he's good health and he is coffee drinker….

    Salt is a vital part of our diet, but not common table salt. If people would eat the salt with all the minerals still in them there would be no problem with eating salt. I use Himalayan pink salt and salt my food liberally, in fact many mornings before I eat I have a cup of warm water with Himalayan pink salt which helps to clean out the toxins in my organs from the night rest. People have been fed the wrong information on salt and now we have an epidemic of salt haters blaming salt for high blood pressure and other health issues.

      Glad to hear I'm not the only person doing this. I drink a soleil every morning with lemon juice. I make mine with pure pink sea salt left in a glass jar. The water will only absorb a certain amount of salt so the remaining crystals sit on the bottom of the jar and all you have to do is refill for the next day. There are over eighty beneficial nutrients you can only get from natural salts. We can't live without them. We've been misled about salt probably by the same people that said coconut oil and butter were bad for you.

    I have a son-in-law who was in the hospital twice in a year because he could not urinate. The doctors said his kidneys were failing. My daughter became a vegan and my son-in-law said he would support her and also try it. Within 6 months his urine flow was improving and after a year the doctor told him that his kidneys were back to normal and he was “urinating like when he was a teenager”. He is strict about the diet (eats lots of veggies and NO MEAT of any kind). He has always been an athlete and still runs about 8 miles a day plus lifts weights a couple days a week. He is 50. He believes that cutting out meat and dairy is what helped him. My daughter loves to cook and keeps him in good vegan foods. She makes her own bean burgers from dry beans and doesn’t buy much prepared vegan food.
