15 Simple & Effective Remedies For Removing Dark Eye Circles

There are various causes for the dark circles under eyes: lack of sleep, fatigue, aging, stress, nutrient deficiency, sun exposure, excess use of medicines and hyper pigmentation. And under eye dark circles is one most common thing that almost every individual faced.

If you need a quick fix for it, then try on some of these homemade remedies:

1. Place the cold cucumber slices over your closed eyes and leave it on for around 15 minutes

2. Place 2 metal spoons in the fridge till they are cold, then place back off into your eyes

3. Do in the same way with cucumber slices, put cold potato slices against your closed eyes for 15 minutes

4. Apply almond oil over the dark circles before sleep and wash off with cold water in the morning

5. Crushed mint leaves and cover the dark circles for 10 minutes, then wipe off with clean, damp cloth

6. Cool the used black tea bags in the fridge till cold, apply to closed eyes for 15 minutes

7. Wrap frozen veggies bag in a clean towel, and then lay on closed eyes for 15 minutes

8. Take some cold buttermilk and add turmeric to it, then apply it under your eyes, wash it after 10-15 minutes

9. Apply castor oil around the eyes before sleeping and wash it in the morning, do this regularly for 2 weeks

10. Dab half a teaspoon of one raw egg white around your eyes and leave it on for 15 minutes until it dries, then rinse well with warm water. (Note: don’t get it into your eyes)

11. You need flour, orange juice and honey for this remedy. Mix these 3 ingredients together, put more amount of flour to make it silky and have texture. Freeze it for a while and rub it on the edges of your circles for 15 minutes

12. Apply a small amount of preparation H under your eyes, wait 15 minutes and wipe off

13. Make a paste from:

  • a teaspoon of tomato juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • a pinch of turmeric powder and
  • a pinch of gram flour

Apply it under eyes for 10 minutes

14. Drink enough water to stay hydrated and sleep well at night

15. Eat healthy! Diet plays an important part in dark circle prevention, so remember to include a decent amount of vegetables in your diet.
