Regarding the honey with milk… you do not specify what kind of milk to use, so this would leave assumptions for the uninformed to use cow's milk. Cow's milk is one of the leading causes of acute and chronic sinus problems, from sinusitis, rhinitis, etc. This is my personal experience which is also backed up up by much well renowned clinical studies which you can check on http://www.notmilk.com, watch the documentary: "Got the Facts on Milk?" and can also check out the book: "The China Study" which is I think the most elaborate and rigorous scientific studies ever done on nutrition. This book confirms how dairy negatively affects the human body in many ways from sinus problems, allergies, acidity, inflammation, to leaky gut syndrome and even cancer! This is not due to the terrible ethics and chemicals and processes done to the milk (this does however make it much worse), therefore even organic grass fed cows will still produce toxic casein protein and other compounds been scientifically proven to dramatically corrupt a human being's health. Cow's milk is made for baby cows, not humans.

The one thing I would add is to move more. Something as simple as walking while practicing nose breathing will naturally open the sinuses. One way to do so quickly is to walk with the mouth and nose plugged for a short distance then take a calm breath in and out through the nose. It will start to open naturally.
