Hemp Hearts is one of the best proteins available and will help you control your hunger. Hemp will give you the fuel, the energy, that you need to get thru the day.

Humans require nourishment every day with slow digesting proteins. Hunger is a signal that the body requires protein, so if you eat fruit or carbohydrates you will continue to be hungry. The answer to this requirement is Hemp; it is natures power food.

Hemp hearts are shelled hemp seeds. They are the most important part of the hemp plant, be aware that other hemp products are also made from these seeds. Other hemp products are also available, like hemp protein powder and hemp oils.

Suggested recipes:

Stir about 3-5 tablespoons of Hemp hearts into yogurt with fruit for breakfast.

Blend hearts with almond milk or water, add some frozen berries for smoothies. Hemp hearts can make their own milk blended with water!

Use as a salad dressing:

Mix hemp hearts, ½ to 1 cup of hearts with 2/3 water

2 tbs of feta cheese

3 tsps pf lemon juice or vinegar

pinch of sea salt and pepper, optional: crushed garlic or herbs

and blend it all together! Great on salads.

She is a Certified Wellness Consultant, through a special program, The Wellness Forum, which has its nutrition program, now part of the curriculum at Ohio State University, providing educational seminars and workshops designed to impart relevant nutrition information to individuals to take control of their own health. These programs give healthier options and choices that can impact your longevity and quality of life. Cindy has been a speaker to many groups and has conducted many of her own classes on food and healthy life style programs.

She is Co-president of the Austin Herb Society and a member of the American Herbalist Guild.
