How to Make This Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 large red onions
  • 50 cloves of peeled garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 bunch parsley and bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 cups old bread
  • 1500 ml of clear chicken soup
  • Salt (to taste)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 180 degree, cut off the tops heads of garlic and bake them with olive oil for 90 minutes.

Stew the onions with olive oil and butter in a pot for 10 minutes over medium heat, and then add the baked garlic. Then add the chicken soup, thyme and the fresh herbs.

Lower the heat and stir with the snippets from bread, let it stew for some minutes until the bread becomes soft.

Finally, take out the herbs and stir the mixture in a blender until you get a creamy soup. Add salt and enjoy this delicious soup.
